Peter Murphy in San Francisco

Had a lovely evening out with friends and got to see Peter Murphy play in San Francisco. I also enjoyed seeing The Blah Boutique upstairs during dinner and drinks with my love. It was a great night.

Met them upstairs and picked up their cd. They are so lovely and  have rad music. I would love to some day see them play a show in the future. 

Weddings, dinners and social events this weekend!

This weekend we celebrated my friend Tom's birthday and Sunday I attended my friend's wedding reception. Super casual and laid back. They served a delicious snack bar full of both vegetarian and vegan options on an outdoor wood deck. It was fun to mingle and check out the fashions. I also finally fell down the Sharknado hole. That movie is ridiculous and hilarious. So bad it is good! I am definitely going to be planning a Sharknado movie night with friends!! What are you doing this summer? 

My pup down to very important business: approving of the oregano from our garden before we make a delicious vegan pasta later. She loves to sniff our lovely, herbs.

Lovely birthday evening celebration and drinks with our friends. 

Wedding fun!! I chose a bauble necklace I got from etsy and a cute lace top with a peter pan collar plus beige flats and black skinnies for the occasion. It was sweltering outside but they had a lovely little canopy for us vampires allergic to the sun. It was such  fun summer occasion. 

Santa Cruz

I visited Santa Cruz with my love last week. We went to one of our favorite places, Saturn Cafe. Love that place. You can get anything veganized there. So so good! Best veggie diner I have ever been to. Ever! I want to go to the one in Berkley. I haven't yet been. We hung out on the beach and played games on the Boardwalk before grabbing a late dinner on the wharf later on. Did some shopping at a local thrift where I got a vintage denim jacket for 7 bucks and picked up some music at Streetlight.  We had a second late dinner of vegan mushroom and Japanese style noodles and wine while we watched some of my favorite Rob Zombie music videos later. Happy Summer!!

New gothic coffee cozy

I love recycling and always get kind of sad when I see things being wasted. I sometimes forget my own mugs. Usually not but when I do I always keep a reusable coffee cozy in my purse if I have to get my coffee in a to go cup. This adorable gothic coffee cozy sleeve I found on etsy.

Mayhem fest 2013

This 4th of July weekend we went to Mayhem fest. It had a really great line up. I was excited to see Amon Amarth , Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon and Rob Zombie. I had never seen Mastodon before so that was really cool. Rob Zombie was amazing! I love him so much. He is one of my all time favorite musicians. He is so talented and my husband and I love his films too. We can't wait to see Lords of Salem! The show was awesome. I hope he comes to Mayhem again.
