Japanese street style books

I love fruits books and a lot of Japanese street style. My soon to be husband's family is from Japan, he is part Japanese and I have always adored the alternative culture there. I some day hope to visit. I really enjoy drawing inspiration from visual kei, punk rock and gothic styles and fashions and incorporating pieces into my own gothic style. I picked these books up for a very good price at a used record and book store near my home.

Outfit inspiration: Gothic tribal style

It is not exactly my style. I am more romantic or industrial gothic but I really enjoy some of the aspects to the tribal gothic style that I have seen and like to incorporate pieces in my own outfits once in a while. I think it is very beautiful and natural looking. I paired a skirt I got from Dolma with a pretty spiral wood necklace, an industrial cropped jacket from Lip Service's Millenium Moon collection and some platform boots.

My weekend

This weekend I went with my mother to the cinema which is my favorite old cinema to watch Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I love Stanford theater, always one of my favorites. The next day went to a modern cinema to watch a sci fi film and spotted some very adorable ducks.

More cd and dvd hauls

I got a lot of these cds for extremely cheap because they had wear or cracks on the cases. The cds were fine and had no scratches. Some dvds and cds I find for less than two dollars. I love finding a good deal. Check out amazon, ebay or places like Rasputins or other used record/book stores for good deals. I lost my type o negative cd and cure cd a long time ago so I got them again. I love old cinema so I got the Nosferatu movie, which I fell in love with in my foreign cinema class many years ago. Older movies sometimes go for much less even if they are classics or cult films that might cost a lot certain places you can still find them on the cheap other places. You just have to be willing to search.

Lip Gloss

I found this Blossom lip gloss at Urban Outfitters. It appealed to me because of the pretty flowers inside. I got cherry scented. It smelled amazing and feels even more amazing on. Perfect for summer.

Fun books!

I love this author. This is a super fun and witty read. 

This book is awesome. Loads of cool arts and crafts. There are several that I like to make each year with friends. I recommend to the gothic crafty types like myself to check it out. 

This is a pretty fun book in my collection. I recommend for some people new to gothic lifestyle or just interested in checking it out. I really enjoy how the book reads.
