Friends clued me in about some awesome and affordable Nightmare before Christmas goodies at Walgreens. I was pretty excited and stocked up on items for my office desk. 

Gothic home making

My mom surprised me and took me to Williams Sonoma and  got this amazing dish set among other items as an early birthday present. I am one step closer to making my home the way I'd like it to be. If you want to spend some money and get luxury gothy styled items, check out their store for gorgeous medallion plates among other lovely things. I can't wait to entertain my guests with these cool skull mugs and plates. I love the coasters and still need to get some wine for my bat stopper. Cheers! 

Fall celebrations

My friends come to celebrate and bring me ridiculously awesome treats, presents and other goodies. I hope you all have a lovely fall and a great time in celebration with your friends and family. 

Gothic home making

If there is one thing I love its a good deal. If there is another thing I love even more its finding cool gothic items to decorate my home with and using my imagination to transform them into something else. In this case, a makeshift pen/pencil holder and "piggy" or coin banks. I fell in love with this Poe inspired crow case and thought it would be perfect to hold my pens and pencils. I also picked up these awesome decorations. One had a skull on it and the other had kind of an absinthe look to it. 

Coffee Factory

My friend has been raving about the Coffee Factory for quite some time. I wrote about my visit in my other blog but I'd like to talk more about them here. If you haven't visited there you must go and check out their cafe'. It has a really cool, indie vibe without the pretentiousness of some cafe's. My friend is from Oregon and said she loved the way the flavor was brought out in the coffee and it reminded her of her hometown. If you are a coffee enthusiast that enjoys a good jolt of caffeine and intense flavor, this cafe will not disappoint. Located in West San Jose, Coffee Factory has incredibly friendly owners and the inside is very spacious and clean. I loved the aesthetics of the inside and think others would also enjoy it. It is perfect for people who want a place to work and chill out without having to be bombarded my zillions of random people at the "hippest" cafe'. It is in one word "relaxing"

42nd Mountain View art and wine festival

To beat the summer heat, I checked out the Art and Wine festival in Mountain View. When it got hot we ducked into cafes for some drinks to cool off. There were many cool vendors this year. There were some amazing artists this year. One of my favorite booths was Rewind Jewelry. They had the most intricate and lovely Steampunk necklaces I have ever seen. I hope to purchase one some day.
