Gothic Boheme

To celebrate the summer solstice I went with an amazing photographer friend of mine and ran around the streets of down town Palo Alto. Images of beaches, veggie bbqs and my friends and I sun flushed sitting at our favorite cafes admiring all the amazing street fashion that surrounds us filled my head. We shot a lot of pics at the beautiful University Cafe. I shot there because Palo Alto is my home town. My grandfather came here from Italy and he and my grandmother who is part Irish/Scottish and also Italian bought our house when it was just built. Before the houses on my street there were just blocks of pretty orchards. No matter where I go or what I do my home town will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope you enjoy the coming summer months with your friends, families and loved ones. I chose to wear my favorite Iron Fist flats of the moment and two pieces that I picked up from As you Wish, an amazing store from North Lake Tahoe. If you are ever down that way I urge you to visit As You Wish. It is one of the most unique and amazing shops I have ever been to. I will be featuring more of my favorite finds from there on my blog in the future. I hope you have an amazing summer!

New Lip Service outfit :>

Infinity Hoodie, Millennium Moon collection Lip Service.

Cap Sleeve dress, leg warmers,  and utility belt from Millennium Moon collection, Lip Service. Floral tights, you can find similar ones at Hot Topic, Lip Service or Forever 21.

Beautiful Pacifica

As most of my friends know one of my favorite places to shop of all time is Lip Service. Their clothes fit me very nicely and really suit me. I am extremely particular about clothing that I like. The clothes I fell in love with were part of their Millennium Moon collection and I thought Pacifica would be the perfect place to shoot pics of my new outfits. I am influenced very much by gothic clothing from all over the world but my favorite style is a more industrial one. I love their cyber wear as well. My favorite thing about them is they always have different styles to suit pretty much anyone. If you are more into dark romance, cyber or industrial like I am they have all of that. Their infinity jacket was super cool and had little cut outs on the shoulders. Probably one of my favorite pieces was the utility belt. It just made me feel like a cool sci fi heroine and I get complimented on it daily.

A lot of people ask me how I do the blue color in my hair so I'm going to tell you :> I bleach really really white platinum in my hair. Make sure it is very light or you will get another color and it won't come out like mine. I use Shocking Blue from Manic Panic. I also put very thin light blue or purple extensions in or I dye the rest of my hair in the back a turquoise color or Ultra Violet from Manic Panic. You can play around with it and see what you like. I put my hair up and separate it though into about 3 or 4 different sections to make sure my platinum or other colors don't touch they blue strands. I rinse out after 15 or 30 minutes. The longer I leave it in the longer it stays. Also if it is super bleached your hair will soak up the colors. The dyes are really great and I have been using Manic Panic for years. If you end up dyeing your hair please send me pics so I can see how it turned out. Cheers!

Cool vegan shoes from Iron Fist

Zombie stomper platform and Digiskull. These are super cool. The zombie ones also came in flats for people who don't want to wear heels.

Adam and Evil flats

Limited edition moonshine zombie stompers. (They glow in the dark.)

Iron Fist is a great place to go for cool shoes and clothing. What I love about Iron Fist is they carry a ton of vegan non leather shoes. They also have really sweet handbags and clothing on their site. Places like Hot Topic and a few other places also carry stuff from Iron Fist.
