David Minor's new album Lush

Talented musician David Minor who also happens to be my brother hails from Berlin, Germany. If you are looking for something to put on your itunes and get you through a tough day or just want something cool to listen to while your taking a walk or riding your bike then you should definitely give his new music a listen to. His sophomore album has some of the same qualities as his first album Sparse but this one has an even more unique and ethereal feel to it. If Sparse took you down the rabbit hole, Lush will take you all the way through wonderland. From enigmatic tracks like Kant Shivers and Athenas Perch,  David's voice goes from an intense poetic tenor to positively angelic and leaves you in a dream like state. He makes the kind of music that doesn't just sound good but creates an almost visual quality to it. Lost Drudgery and the Day is one of my favorite tracks that boasts not only cool vocals but also a bitchin music video. If you want to escape from the mundane world seriously think about getting this album. Check out David's new debut album available on itunes or from Nonine Records.

Cheers,
Winter
