Coffee with Kiki

A cup of tea on the sidewalk

Kiki and her husband Matt and I out to coffee/tea
One of my fondest memories was going to coffee with my best friends. No matter how icky my day was I can always remember my friends perking me up by treating me to a cup of coffee after school. As long as I can remember I have been a budding fashionista and never without my cup of coffee or a new vintage scarf in hand. There was always a thrill that would come over us when that bell rang and we all scattered out of class donned in our new vintage band tees that we bought with every last cent of our allowances. Some of us would pack into carpools while others rode their skate boards and we'd meet up at our favorite coffee haunts to grab java, catch up and later browse the nearby record store for the latest tunes.  I have been friends with Kiki since high school. There are certain people that will remain in a special place in your heart and time will go on as it always has even if you haven't seen that person for a few months or a year. Every time I see my best friends it is like drinking a warm cup of coffee or tea. It is reassurance like your favorite cool thrift store or a great band that you can't get enough of.  People watching at cafe's, hanging with friends and meeting new folks has always given me inspiration for fashion. My job and my friends are the biggest influences in my life. Most of my posts will be about fashion and coffee but once in a while I have to pay tribute with  a sentimental piece to the most amazing people in my life.

Love you friends. Never Change.
xoxo Winter
