James Franco's book signing for Actors Anonymous

James Franco is one of my favorite actors and I got to briefly meet him today at a book signing for his new book, Actors Anonymous. I was stoked to hear him talk about his book. I read his other book Palo Alto and I really liked it a lot.  His writing resonates with me and I enjoy his films. It was so cool to be able to finally meet him. After the signing I had an early dinner at Borrones and hot apple cider with my mom. Some of the pictures are a tad blurry but I'm happy I took a few. Great end to my weekend :>

Standing in line waiting for James Franco! :D

Yummy cider at Cafe Borrones.

Fun books!

I love this author. This is a super fun and witty read.

This book is awesome. Loads of cool arts and crafts. There are several that I like to make each year with friends. I recommend to the gothic crafty types like myself to check it out.

This is a pretty fun book in my collection. I recommend for some people new to gothic lifestyle or just interested in checking it out. I really enjoy how the book reads.

New music, movie and book haul

Okay this is one of those films I have owned several copies of multiple times. I can't get enough Rocky and Tim Curry is the sexiest beast alive in this film aaah  Yummy yum yum. Okay done drooling but seriously if you haven't been to Rocky there is this nifty fun audience participation guide. I got this for a Rocky virgin friend of mine. I can't wait to take them! I can't count the number of times I've been there.

For those of you interested in getting into darkwave, goth or if you just like The Cure and Joy Division you can check out these rad music compliations. I have Sooooo many cds of my favorite goth and metal bands but sometimes I just like a good mix with cool artists.

I love fantasy and I loved this movie as a kid. Who doesn't want to see gorgeous Bridgette Fonda as a fantasy character? Seriously this movie is awesome.

Ahhh Boy George. When I want a break from rocking out to my super dark tunes I like to chill to this music. There is something incredibly nostalgic about it.

Gothic December inspiration for you.

In December I am really always inspired by pin up and corsets, fallen leaves, good books and rain. I love arm warmers and pops of red colors. So pretty.

Finishing up another book of hers. I can't wait to get to this one.

A photograph by Paul Grant he did a while back. He is such a lovely photographer and great with color. I miss these shoes!! I call them my Bettie Page shoes. I need to get some new heels for photo shoots.
