The alice style miniature tea set I won! |
Recently I was invited to a Mad Hatter/Alice in Wonderland themed unbirthday tea party. Honestly, it was one of the coolest things I've ever been to. The hostess, who is also a vintage enthusiast like myself and an avid collector of vintage tea sets threw an amazing get together. I took tea with some of the most lovely ladies. We all came dressed to the nines in fancy mad hatter style hats, played fun games and literary mad libs, which if you are a big book reader or English major you will find hilarious. She decorated in Alice in Wonderland style and created one of the most amazing gluten free, mostly vegan spreads I have ever seen. It was complete with little tea sandwiches and delicious organic peach tea.Very fun indeed.
Everyone is asking where I got my outfit to put together for the tea party so here it is :)
